A Walk To Remember

If you’ve never seen this film then stop reading now, I don’t want to spoil the ending for you. I’ve found the best bits video from youtube so check it out. The soundtrack it amazing as well.

Mandy Moore and Shane West make the greatest onscreen couple. I love how much he loves her. You’ve got to have a good struggle to get an onscreen couple together in order to really be able to say awwwww!!

As this story is such a shocker I won’t reveal the ending but if you miss it then you’re missing out. And if you don’t get through a whole box of tissues by the end then you’re totally heartless.

Love is like the wind. You cannot see it but you can always feel it!

The Changeling

This trailer has been playing in Blockbuster for ages and ever time it comes on I stop to watch but have been so busy that I’ve saved it for a reward for all my hard work. It was so worth the wait, this film is definitely not to be missed.

Although I’m not a big fan of Angelina Jolie she does a great job as the mother who looses her son. I followed the case of missing Madeline McCan very closely and  was fascinated about how missing persons were dealt with in the 1920s.

This is such a sad and traumatic film and is even worse when you realise that the film is based on a true story. I did have a little weep and even my boyfriend enjoyed it. It’s a one to watch!!

August Rush

An incredible journey moving at the speed of sound

I first saw this film in Africa and was given the DVD by the family I stayed with because we watched it so many times together. They loved the music and the romance and I will always remember my trip to Africa by this film. There is no other way to describe this film that truly magical. The way that music reunited the whole family and is the driving force behind each of them is a bit far fetched but the little boy’s talent is extraordinary which makes up for it. Plus who doesn’t need  a little magic in their life.

I’ve actually bought the soundtrack because I absolutely love every track. I love the strummy guitar music mixed with the more classical stuff. It’s a great CD to chill out too.

Not only that, Jonathan Rhys Meyers (the yummy Hugo Boss guy) stars in it and I just can’t resist his gorgeous Irish charm. All round this film is a winner, a lovely happy ending, great eye candy and an amazing soundtrack. You really can’t go wrong.

The Lake House

How do you hold onto someone you’ve never met?

I have to say that I did have to watch this film twice in order to understand it. The plot is a tiny bit complicated but it has Sandra Bullock in it so I gave it a second chance and loved it once I was fully concentrating. Sandra plays a Doctor who begins writing letters to a man via her mailbox. They soon realise that  they are living 2 years apart. Obviously they find themselves falling in love and because she is living in his future she can change the course of her life to make sure that they end up together.

I won’t spoil the end of the film because it’s such a dramatic but lovely ending. Check out the trailer instead and see if it tickles your fancy.

The Notebook

Without a shadow of a doubt this is my all time favourite film. I love everything about it, the characters, the setting, the story line and the magical ending. It fits every mood on every occasion and I don’t know any girl who doesn’t love it.

There are some scenes that really do just take your breath away. I’ve found an awesome clip on youtube where the stars win the MTV Kissing Award. It’s great and its probably there chemistry together that really makes the film.

Horse Whisperer

If you haven’t seen this film then you’re missing out. Big Time!! This is such a moving film, so tragic!! You can tell why this was Scarlett Johansson’s big break because she is fantastic and has me in tears several times through out the film.

Check out this trailer and I know you’ll want to see it!!
